Shlomo Danieli Inc. specializes in importing and growing specialty cut flowers year round. Alon Hagalil, one of the two main divisions, imports flowers and foliage from Israel year-round. The other main division, Blooming of Beloit is focused on growing and developing an advanced line of specialty cut flowers, grown on a 105 acre farm in Beloit, Wisconsin. In addition, we specialize in importing exquisite and exceptional flowers from a variety of countries, such as Thailand, Chile, and Columbia. We are experts in executing tailor-made orders of high grade specialty cut flowers on a year-round basis. We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products they require, and pride ourselves on our exemplary customer service. We endeavor to get to know our customers, so we can cater for their needs and exceed their expectations.

Shlomo Danieli Biography

Shlomo Danieli became involved in agriculture when at the age of 14 he attended Agriculture School in Israel. He continued to graduate from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a Degree in Horticulture and Teaching. Mr Danieli also completed a degree in Marketing from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology.

For 11 years he worked for Agrexco, Israel's largest Agricultural Company, splitting his time between Israel and Germany. Since Mr. Danieli moved to the United States in 1981, the proportion of imported flowers purchased in the US (versus domestically grown) has grown from 15% to 85%.

Mr. Danieli retired in 1996 and sold his company. He moved on to get a History Degree from the Spertus University in Chicago.

Mr Shlomo Danieli invented the DA•SH BOARD™, which is a uniquely designed color-matching catalog, to help the floral industry avoid color confusion.

During his retirement, Mr. Danieli, driven by his passion for flowers, bought land in Beloit, WI, for growing flowers as a hobby. The product of his success turned into a flourishing and prosperous company, known today as Shlomo Danieli Inc.

Mr. Danieli owns a 105 acre farm in Beloit, WI, named Blooming of Beloit , specializing in growing blooming trees and unique floral that is difficult to import.
